Stiftung Dla Dobra Dzieci została założona z inicjatywy Fundatora – Łukasza Terleckiego oraz obecnego prezesa fundacji Bernadetty Stachura-Terleckej w dniu 14 kwietnia 2021 roku.

Their guiding idea was to change perceptions of foster care, focus on children with disabilities in foster care, and support all children who, for whatever reason, cannot find adoptive families. The Foundation’s aim is to focus on children in care and safeguard their wellbeing and development.

The Foundation’s name is a reminder that the primary purpose of both the foundation and foster care is to care for the wellbeing of children.

Our purpose is to help children who often enter foster care carrying trauma, and to support their caregivers in building a better future for them.

Those in our care can count on help in many forms.

 

The Foundation may provide the following forms of assistance:

• establish and/or operate family children’s homes and adoption centres, particularly for children with genetic conditions or other health problems, from large families or difficult legal circumstances,
• act as an organiser of foster care, including coordinating families in the foster-care system throughout the Republic of Poland,
• organise charity events, including seeking sponsors and arranging events for children, holiday meetings, fairs, cultural and sporting events, and general-development activities.
• provide legal and administrative advice and assistance with formal and legal solutions, as well as prepare materials,
• cooperate with public administration bodies and all units and entities responsible for children in the foster-care system.
• integrate families involved in foster care, including co-organising support groups, workshops, integration trips and specialist training, and administering an online forum for such families.
• cooperate with organisations responsible for arranging volunteering and directly manage assistance provided by volunteers for the Foundation.
• establish and operate pre-adoption and specialist therapeutic centres for children of different age groups.
• create and care for “Life Windows”.

Jego filmy, takie jak „Ostatni prom“, „80 milionów“ czy „Fotograf“, zdobyły uznanie krytyków oraz publiczności, a także liczne nagrody na prestiżowych festiwalach filmowych. Jego twórczość wyróżnia się głęboką wrażliwością na kwestie społeczne oraz historyczne, co czyni go idealnym partnerem dla naszej fundacji.

Pan Waldemar Krzystek wnosi do naszej fundacji nie tylko swoją renomę i autorytet, ale także pasję i zaangażowanie w sprawy społeczne. Jego filmy często poruszają trudne tematy, skłaniają do refleksji i inspirują do działania, co jest zgodne z misją naszej organizacji. Jako Ambasador Fundacji Dla Dobra Dzieci, Waldemar Krzystek będzie wspierał nasze inicjatywy na rzecz poprawy jakości życia dzieci oraz promował wartości, które są nam bliskie.

Jest nie tylko prezesem Fundacji Dla Dobra Dzieci, ale przede wszystkim pasjonatką i liderką, która nieustannie oddaje się sprawie poprawy życia dzieci umieszczonych w pieczy zastępczej. Jej zaangażowanie kształtuje misję fundacji, skupiając się na ochronie dzieci, ich zdrowia i bezpieczeństwa. Dzięki jej wizji i determinacji, organizacja dynamicznie rozwija się, wspierając potrzebujące dzieci i inspirując innych do działania. 

Psychologist
Paulina

Absolwentką psychologii na Uniwersytecie Jagiellońskim. Już w trakcie studiów wiedziała, że chce pracować z dziećmi i młodzieżą, dlatego zdobywała doświadczenie w przedszkolu, szkołach czy poradni psychologiczno-pedagogicznej, pracowała też jako opiekunka dla dziecka. W ramach wolontariatu współprowadziła świetlicę środowiskową i współpracowała z Fundacją Dla Dobra Dzieci. Brała udział w kilku projektach badawczych, ma też na swoim koncie publikacje naukowe. Kiedy nie zajmuję się psychologią, lubi pogłębiać swoją wiedzę z zakresu poprawnej polszczyzny, głaszcząc kocie futerko.

Important!

Income from the Foundation’s paid activities, including therapy, is used to co-finance its statutory work, including premises rental, utilities, maintenance and renovation, psychologists’ and psychotherapists’ remuneration, access to private care for the beneficiaries most in need, and legal assistance.

The Foundation is funded mainly through sponsors’ support and the work of volunteers.
