FAS and FASD are conditions that often remain über Jahre unerkannt, and their symptoms are often misinterpreted as ADHD, behavioural problems or a lack of motivation.

Wie läuft die FAS/FASD-Diagnostik ab?

The assessment process includes:

• Analyse von Unterlagen und Entwicklungsbiografie,

• an interview with carers,

• Beurteilung der kognitiven und emotionalen Entwicklung,

• Zusammenarbeit von Fachleuten,

• eine schriftliche diagnostische Stellungnahme with recommendations.

We work with particular sensitivity to the circumstances of children in foster care and adoption, where access to a complete prenatal history may be limited.
