A safe place in a difficult time
Since 2023, Fundacja Dla Dobra Dzieci has enabled people in difficult circumstances to use temporary accommodation. The home responds to situations in which people need not only immediate help and a conversation, but also a calm, safe place to live and time to put their situation in order.
The accommodation is available to people and families who, for life, family or economic reasons, need temporary support and stable conditions. Each situation is considered individually, taking into account current needs and the Foundation’s possibilities.
A home that offers practical support
From October 2025 to the present, the home has been continuously occupied. The accommodation therefore continues to provide a real place of refuge for people who have found themselves at a difficult point in life.
Terms of use
Families using the home pay neither rent nor a fee for making the accommodation available. They cover only utility costs, according to actual consumption.
This solution reduces the financial burden on people receiving help while teaching responsible, shared care for a place that serves as a temporary home.
Project goals
- providing a safe, temporary place to stay;
- protecting people and families from homelessness or having to remain in a situation threatening their safety;
- creating conditions for regaining stability and independence;
- enabling calm access to further specialist and social assistance;
- supporting families through a difficult period and in planning their next steps.
Foundation support
The temporary home is one of Fundacja Dla Dobra Dzieci’s activities for people who need protection, safety and stability. Depending on residents’ situation, help may be combined with consultations, psychological support, assistance in contacts with institutions and the search for long-term housing and life solutions.
The project is ongoing. Detailed information about the possibility of using the home is arranged individually with the Foundation.
