Our activities

The Dla Dobra Dzieci Foundation undertakes szeroką gamę działań mających na celu wsparcie dzieci w pieczy zastępczej oraz ich rodzin. Nasze programy i inicjatywy są skierowane zarówno do dzieci, jak i dorosłych, obejmując wsparcie psychologiczne, prawne oraz edukacyjne.

Psychological and legal support
We offer comprehensive psychological counselling for children, young people, and foster, adoptive and biological parents. Our services also include legal support concerning foster care, including advice, drafting letters and, in exceptional situations, co-financing legal representation.

Training and workshops
We organise numerous training sessions and workshops to support foster, adoptive and biological families:

  • PRIDE training for foster families non-professional,
  • PRIDE training for foster families non-professional,
  • Parenting-skills training,
  • Self-reg training,
  • Training supporting parents in raising children with health-related difficulties
    This 4-hour training helps parents better understand their child’s needs, support the child’s emotional development and growing independence, and respond more calmly to everyday challenges. The programme covers communication, setting boundaries, responding to difficult behaviour and cooperation with specialists.
    Fee: PLN 249 per parent; PLN 399 for two parents or carers.
  • Support groups for parents,
  • Social-skills training for children and young people,
  • Cognitive-skills development course,
  • Ukrainian literature and culture classes Ukrainian.
  • Sports and Relaxation Day
